Kanban Production Game TIUI 2012

Yeahhh…Finally the project of Kanban Production Game was over hohoho

This was project really quick because it just took 1 month from the announcement, preparation, and surely till the simulation of the game. My team, Cherryban, just got the 4^th place for both the yelyel competition and the game. But actually, winning this game just contributes 10% from the essence of the game. I think the essences of this game are 50% knowledge, 20% friendship, 20% experience, and 10% winning (Because I don't win this game kali ya haha).

During I got score 94% of the essence from my self assessment (just 4% in winning because of the 4^th place), I was really happy for being the team leader. Ya, actually we led the game until 10^th periods (we were in 1^st place), but maybe the other team/ competitor was really in their better performance than my team (after the 10^th periods) and we just placed in 4^th place at the end of the game. Actually I did many mistake from the 1^st till 6^th periods. As the warehousing coordinator, I failed to hold the principle of Zero Inventory in Kanban Game as Pull Production Systems because there were many inventories both in workstation and warehousing. But surprisingly, I don’t know why we were in the 1^st place at the 1^st of the half-game. While heading to the 2^nd of the half-game, actually I can hold the principles of Zero Inventory because my entire forecast was precious and the entire demand were fulfilled. Sometimes, there just 1 WIP in workstation. But at the final announcement, we just got that achievement.

But I’m not being sad after that, because I got many real essence of this game. These are the Kanban Game Team Logo. Congrats to P-Man for winning this game.
