Dream High: It’s All about Dreams

Dream High tells the story of six students at Kirin Art High
School who work to achieve their dreams of becoming music stars in the Korean
music industry. They have different last background, different problem faced, and
surely the different character. This drama really inspires me in achieving my
future goals. Too much learning I’ve got from this drama, from what truly the singing is, humility, self improvement, maturity, friendship, spirit, sincerity, and the important is how to conquer our weakness.
Singing is not just about showing a beautiful voice. Singing is like Leadership. If leadership can influence people to do something, Singing will influence people to feel something and maybe can influence people to do something. A good singing is with emotion. So, singing can influence both people and singer to feel something.

In this world there are 2 types of happiness
One type: after the time, you look back and think I was
happy back then. You realize you were happy after the event.
The other type: realizing you're happy at the present time. Realizing
you're happy at the moment is so precious.
You make that moment a memory. It's bright enough to relive it
for the rest of your life. We'll probably remember today, this moment, with
that kind of happiness. Enough to remember this moment as a bright memory for
the rest of our life

Do you know what a break shot is? It's the first shot you
take to break the rack of balls in a billiard game. It's the shot that begins
every game. You can hit the ball at the same angle with the same force, but it
will always break the rack in a different way.
That's how it is with life and important changes. Like break
shots, changes can come at us from nowhere. And they completely disrupt our
otherwise normal life. And most teenagers find themselves helpless in the face
of those changes. If I could go back to those days again, I'd like to say this
to those teenagers: The game's begun, so don't be scared.

You still have a long way to go until your drama's
over. So, don't be discouraged that it's not progressing quickly. If you go
slowly, there's more you can learn along the way. If you were to ask me who
wins between the two? I... would say the one who goes slowly, but experiences
more.

For me.....there are 3 classes of students:
First-class students are those who have talent
and work hard.
Second-class students, are those who have average
talent but still work hard.
And third-class students.....are those who are
prejudiced, NOT lack both talent and
hard work

I had such a beautiful dream. I want to achieve that dream.
Hearing a friend say that was like a blow to the head. It was the worst. "Despair

Dreams are something you never let go off. If there's a wall,
I can tear it down. And I can use it to build a bridge instead.

You must see what you did wrong. You have to try to improve
yourself. You can eventually work your way to the top. If you do that, this
story will be yours. Your story is a long way from being over. You shouldn't
worry that you're not going fast enough. If you take your time, you can
appreciate the things around you.

Why Green? Not Blue?

I always think about tagline of the Global Warming Issue:
Green Manufacturing, Green Campus, GreenPeace, Green Lifestyle, Go Green, etc.
Ya, that’s all are the environment campaign we always see at the News,
Advertisement, etc. Why should Green? Not Blue? Or White? I think that Blue is
more fresh (we need for fresh at all for living this planet) and white is more
clear and clean. Ya, although it is Green maybe it’s more lovely haha
No matter with that name, but actually Green will indicate
that the important thing in this Global Warming Issue is Tree, planting tree,
how to make our planet become more green again after the human acts that really
influence in environment damage.
How if (maybe) our planets become green at all? It surely
that it’s green only for the land. There is no green for ocean, it should be
Blue Ocean. As we know, our planet consists of almost 70% of ocean and 30% of
land. Do you know that the ocean is the most have an impact because of the
Global Environment Issue?
Firstly is air
pollution. It will
affect on pollution forwarded to the cloud. The polluted
clouds potentially cause acid rain. we
know the hydrology cycle, starting from the rain that fell in the mountains
and then into rivers and eventually head into the sea.
Corals
potentially can be an absorber of carbon dioxide because the fact it is similar
to the plant. And
actually, the corals have the power absorption of carbon dioxide better than the
plants on land. When
corals die, the fish will die too. Coral
and fish form a mutualism symbiotic, where the coral as a place to live and food
the fish, as well as the fish providing food from the fish feces.
Second come from
our lifestyle that impact to the environment. From
waking in the morning we had a shower, wash clothes, and go to the toilet that
already have a part in marine pollution. Now,
a lot of people throw the garbage into the river that finally led to the
pollution at sea. Yes,
it is just a little reflection of pollution at the sea. I
will discuss further about pollution of the sea again in the next posting.
I wrote this posting didn’t mean that I don’t support the go green campaign. But, this campaign make the main focus to address environmental issues just plant trees, make the land being green. In fact, almost 70% of our planet is ocean that plays a lot in addressing the environmental issue, but affected a lot because of environmental issues. Even Greenpeace (from a letter to supporters who are given to me), campaign a large part of green. I only got to see the blue whale rescue of illegal arrest in the letter. But I am glad that now there are some environmental activists who held a planting of coral in the sea, though still small.
