MOTIVA(NA)TION: Build Nation Through Motivation

I wanna share the stories that inspire my life, that’s
my experience with my new community called KMPI (Komunitas Motivasi Pemuda Indonesia or Community of Motivational
Indonesian Youth). KMPI is a non-political youth organization and is a
gathering place for the youth Indonesia's longing for the glory of the nation.
The Attendance of KMPI be the starting point of change in youth for the glory
of the nation of Indonesia. KMPI is not yet well known among the youth of
Indonesia as a new launching on November 1, 2009 so it was not even 2 years. I
just joined this community in early 2011. It's not too long but the benefits
that I've acquired over the join this community are absolutely spectacular.
I’mm beginning to join
this community because
I followed the public speaking
program called "Bintang Revolusi (Star of the Revolution) : Motivational and Public Speaking Academy."
Bintang Revolusi
is KMPI program to create motivator, according to the name KMPI. I really want to improve
my public speaking skills. As an industrial engineer, a
good public speaking skill
is very important especially to negotiate, corporate presentations, convincing customers, etc.
Public speaking is the process of speaking to a group of people deliberately and intended to inform, influence, or entertain the listener. The main purpose of public speaking can be achieved by delivering simple information so that it can motivate people to act. Public Speaking can be a workable tool if used for purposes such as to motivate, influence, persuade, inform, translate, or just entertain. Well, here's the knowledge I acquired during the course is not just about public speaking but also the science of motivation.
In the beginning of the
Bintang Revolusi program,
I did not know
the vision of this program
in detail. However, Bintang Revolusi not only helped me to improve my
public speaking skills but also have a very noble social
goals for this
country. Bintang Revolusi is a program for youth who want to contribute to the country through
the world of motivation so that
members will be trained to
become a reliable
professional speaker. My goal was changed,
besides improving my public speaking skills,
but also be
beneficial for a young man around me through the motivation
to build the nation.
Implicitly, I learned in this program not only to be a public speaker, but
also became an agent of change through motivation
that certainly should know about public
speaking.
Consciously or
not, the revolve of history in Indonesia led
by youth and will continue so
until the nation's prosperity. Today, the condition
of youth is very ironic and worrying.
Never mind the thought of contributing to the country, thinking of themselves and their purpose in life was difficult. The backbone (young generation) of
the country are in danger of osteoporosis, the quantity that is not accompanied by the quality so it creates human resources
that have not been able to compete. Cultural shifts as well as the swift flow of information give the deterioration of the nation. Then who will be the
agents of change for Indonesia? Is the generation
of drunks, free sex offender, or the
pessimistic and apathetic
one?
KMPI
called to rebuild the country and build the character
of Indonesian youth to become a excellent
character of the potential
possessed by the youth of Indonesia. Together KMPI,
be the locomotive of character development
and potential of youth
that’s excellent, intelligent, and high achievers in
Indonesia to meet the Indonesia superpower. Empowering the potential of Indonesian youth to produce
spiritual awakening that preceded the social welfare and the establishment of self-awareness through the motivation of Indonesian youth.
One of the event
of KMPI is
motivational seminar in Jakarta, it was the
event "Bangkitlah Pemuda, Bangkitlah Indonesia!” or “Arise Youth, Arise Indonesia!" that was held successfully in
May 2011 in Bulungan Stadium,
Jakarta. The event was attended by thousands of youth. In this next July, KMPI will hold a similar event with the name "Becoming the New You." KMPI
with the majority of members are youth, collaborating together to achieve the goals
of KMPI. I am very impressed at all with
them. While other
young people out there are enjoying
their youth, they are striving to
contribute to the country.
That's the
story about my
experience that inspired
me to create a better world. We can change a better world by motivation. This starts from
ourselves and then into the environment around us especially our beloved country,
and the world. The
proverbs said that a big
changes starts from ourselves, start from
now, and start from small things. If a big
changes do not start from ourselves, then who will start?
